It seems right that my first official post would be me introducing myself. It’s more fun when all you have to do is write about yourself as opposed to that first day of school ice-breaker game where you have to go around the circle and introduce yourself. Out loud. In public. Introverts everywhere would be struck with fear.
Me, I’m the introvert. And also an INFP (if you’re into personality types).
But, I’m getting ahead of myself. It’s always best to start with the basics.
My name is Addie and I’m 29 years old. I live outside of Toronto, Canada and I’m a writer. I also work part-time in an office but writing is the goal. I studied Broadcast Television in college and it was really fun. I volunteered at a local TV station for five years and it was one of the best experiences of my life. It has since closed down which is sad but understandable.
I live with my parents and older sister (and no, that’s not weird when you’re Italian). I have a brother who’s married and has two kids. My two nephews are the cutest in the world. I also have a goldendoodle named Rusty who is a big, playful ball of floof.
I’ve always been a big movie buff, I need music to live and I’ve always been an avid reader. My taste spans every genre and definitely makes me a contradiction. I like to think of myself as well-rounded in my tastes. You will definitely learn a lot about the things I like as the blog goes on.
That’s all I can think of so far. I’m confident you will get to know me through my posts. Maybe a bit too much. (There’s more in the About Me section of this blog).
